He is the son of ex. chief of navy Mr. Tahiliani. He has done exactly what he wanted to and lived life at his own pace. And this has helped him enjoy his stints with different media -- be it films, TV or theatre.

He guess he have been portrayed as an antagonist more often than not. But this is a perception which the public has of him. On his part, he have never made a conscious effort to enact a particular category of roles. At the end of the day, he would like to be known as an actor.

Aftab Shivdasani

Birthday : 25th June 1978
Once I dared to predict a gloomy future for Aftab to a teenaged girl and she literally clawed out all my gut instincts. Statutory Warning: Writing off Aftab as the teenage heart-throb is harmful to your health. With only one movie 'Mast' in his kitty, he is already poised for the next romantic sensation lest all the adulation doesn't find its way to his head. This is not his first exposure to the arc lights; he is originally a Shekhar Kapoor find as a child artiste in Mr. India. It was his impish portrayals in Coke and Nestle Bar One ads that caught the creative eye of Ramgopal Varma who needed the same innocent character in his movie, 'Mast'. But girls, I'd again say, at the risk of being eaten alive (pun unintended), that don't count too much on him, because last heard, he was pondering to change his image as a violent hero. Talk of a Leopard changing stripes.
